Swinging Hammock
How can I choose a hammock?
I want to buy a hammock to hang in our garden between two trees which are 10 feet apart. I don't want to bring it in every time we have bad weather. I want to use it for reading and sleeping, and for my two young kids to enjoy swinging and playing in it. Any advice from personal experience? Thanks in advance.
10 feet is maybe a bit short for a 'real' hammock? I got two, two years ago from Ebay, fantastic hand made South American, but the distance between the tree and wall is about 15 feet. I dont leave them out in all weathers, I fitted heavy snap hooks to the hammock and eyebolts to the tree/wall, so I can detatch them easily.
